Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an imaging support aide to augment both technical and nursing staff around imaging procedures. The role includes transporting patients, assisting with IV setup, preparing rooms, and supporting procedure teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years of clinical experience, and BLS certification. OSHA TB testing and experience with medical terminology are a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in Michigan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent clinical experience 1-2 years required; 3-4 years preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• I.V. setup skills preferred.
• Mandatory TB testing and OSHA training annually.
• College medical terminology course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage patients for imaging procedures and document related information.
• Transport patients to imaging rooms and assist during procedures.
• After procedures, move patients to staging area, discontinue IV, and prep room for next case.
• Assist nursing and technical staff during invasive procedures.
