Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support a fast-paced imaging department. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with patient flow, and help move and position patients safely and respectfully.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with technologists and clinical staff, deliver patient-focused care, and ensure adherence to safety and infection-control guidelines while maintaining a comfortable patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist technologists and clinical staff.
• Support patient flow and mobility; guide patients through visits.
• Provide hands-on patient positioning and basic procedural support.
• Maintain room readiness, cleanliness and stocked supplies for continuous patient flow.
• Follow established safety, mobility, and infection control guidelines.
