Job summary

UPMC's Magee - Women’s Hospital is recruiting a Full Time Clinical Support Specialist to assist the Women’s Imaging Lemieux. The role supports daily operations, interacts with patients and staff, and maintains radiology workflows during daylight hours with rotating evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience with computers, patient records, or reception. Knowledge of HIS/RIS and patient confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience using computers, patient records, and/or reception.
• Ability to lead in absence of supervisor.
• Knowledge of hospital and radiology information systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain office equipment and inform appropriate personnel of service needs.
• Interact with patients, families, staff and healthcare professionals; problem solve with independent judgment.
• Enter, retrieve, edit and print data in computer systems; answer telephones and triage calls.
