Job summary

Trinity Health in Michigan is seeking an Imaging Tech Assistant to support safe, efficient imaging services under supervision. You will provide direct patient care, help with positioning, and communicate procedures to reduce anxiety while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities include patient transport, exam room prep, documenting data in PACS and EHR, and assisting with basic tasks such as venipuncture or POCT as trained.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, caregiving, or support with direct interaction with individuals.
• Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn EHR and imaging software (RIS, PACS).
• Preferred: CNA, MA, EMT or healthcare-related training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under supervision, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment; assist with transfers and positioning.
• Document patient data in PACS, RIS, and EHR; review patient information and consent forms.
• Follow infection prevention and MRI/radiation safety protocols; maintain patient confidentiality.
