SMIL Southwest Medical Imaging, LTD is seeking a Tech Assistant to support daily imaging operations and deliver a positive patient experience. You will greet patients, collect histories, prep for exams, and uphold MRI safety protocols. Responsibilities include starting IVs, running I-STAT, and uploading outside imaging while assisting technologists and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 24/7 patient care focus and safety.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred; IV skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with patients in a friendly, professional manner.
• Prepare patients for exams including histories and prep.
• Ensure MRI safety: remove personal belongings and verify safety.
• Start IVs and run I-STAT as needed.
• Upload outside imaging and assist with comparisons.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient areas; assist staff.
• Support technologists with daily tasks and patient flow.
• Other duties as assigned.
