Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Tech Assistant to support technologists and staff by preparing exam rooms, guiding patients safely, and helping with patient flow in a fast-paced imaging environment.

This hands-on role requires standing and moving throughout shifts, with emphasis on safety, infection control, and teamwork. A high school diploma, healthcare exposure, BLS/CPR, and willingness to obtain IV certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow and mobility.
• Escort and position patients for imaging procedures and provide basic procedural support.
• Support technologists and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflows and safe patient handling.
• Maintain room readiness, cleaning and stocking between patients, and adherence to safety guidelines.
