Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registry/Per Diem Imaging Transporter to support the Medical Imaging department, primarily in CT, at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. The role involves non-technical patient care, clerical duties, and coordination of imaging-related tasks.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with varied shifts, providing patient support, data entry, and coordination of transportation and follow-up procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical imaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff and answer calls; help with scheduling and information.
• Enter patient data into PACS and maintain patient records.
• Assist in pre/post procedure room preparation and radiation safety.
• Manage office supplies and perform clerical tasks as needed.
• Coordinate patient transportation and discharge processes.
