Job summary

Lexington Health seeks an Imaging Support Associate to assist technologists in the Imaging department. You will prepare patients for exams, check paperwork, and help set up exam rooms across CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Special Procedures/Cath Lab and X-Ray.

The role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and enrollment in an imaging modality program, plus active CPR/BLS certification. You will greet patients, verify identities, and support scheduling and throughput while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Enrolled in Imaging Modality College or Certification Program.
• Active CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify patient identity and exam in accordance with current policies.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist the technologist with setting up exam rooms.
• Set up equipment and maintain room readiness for CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Special Procedures/Cath Lab and X-Ray.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure a safe, clean working environment.
• Coordinate patient schedules with clerical staff and technologists.

Education
