Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Imaging Support Associate to assist the Imaging department with patient preparation, exam setup, and coordination of schedules. The role supports technologists across CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, and X-Ray modalities.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying documentation, and maintaining a safe, efficient exam environment while upholding infection control and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Enrolled in a recognized imaging modality program or certification.
• No prior experience required.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify patient identity and exam to be provided in accordance with current policies.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist the technologist in setting up exam rooms.
• Set up equipment in the room as necessary and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Coordinate patient schedules and assist with throughput and workflow.
