Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support the imaging team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT. The role assists technologists, prepares patients for exams, and ensures comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Primary duties include patient transport, coordination of care, and basic IV insertion when competent. This is a PRN/as-needed on-site position with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• BLS for Caregivers required or active certification preferred.
• Prior patient-care or customer-service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the technologist's direction.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and attends to their needs during the procedure.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department and manages patient comfort and safety.
• Assists and/or coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers after procedures.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and reports needed repairs.
• May assist with IV insertion upon competency.
