Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support imaging teams. The role provides patient preparation, transfer, and care coordination under the technologist, with a PRN/as-needed schedule.

You will assist with IV insertion (where competent), transport patients, maintain safety, and help keep imaging environments clean and organized. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for caregivers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and attend to their needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other patient care providers following procedure.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
• Transports patients to/from the Imaging department ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
