HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an Imaging Student Extern PRN to support imaging teams while advancing their radiology training. You will work under a Registered Radiologic Technologist to prepare for and assist with imaging procedures, gaining hands-on experience and clinical knowledge.
The role is PRN and requires active enrollment in an accredited radiology program, with AHA/CPR/BLS within 30 days of start.

The Imaging Student Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care skills while gaining practical experience and knowledge in imaging principles. Under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Imaging Student Extern prepares for and assists with imaging procedures, in accordance with the Extern’s skills/training and the needs of the Department. The Imaging Student Extern is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of radiography and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.
