Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL seeks a Sonographer PRN to perform ultrasound exams across the main campus and free-standing EDs, with on-call and holiday shifts. PRNs must cover a minimum of 3 shifts per month, including on-call and holiday rotations.

Candidates should have accredited ultrasonography training, ARRT-S or ARDMS registration within 6 months, RVT within 24 months, and BLS within 30 days.

  • Performs ultrasound procedures per imaging policies.
  • Delivers patient-centered care in line with hospital values.

Responsibilities

  • Performs procedures utilizing ultrasound techniques in accordance with Medical Imaging policies and protocols.
  • Provides care in a manner that promotes positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

Work location can be at the main campus at HCA FL Orange Park Hospital or any of our Free Standing Emergency Departments (Normandy Park, Middleburg, Royal Pines, and Park West).

PRN (as needed), On call, and holiday shifts.

PRNs must work minimum of 3 shifts per month, including on call shifts and holiday rotations. Shifts can be at main ED or any of the FSEDs.

Job Summary And Qualifications
  • Performs procedures utilizing ultrasound techniques in accordance with Medical Imaging policies and protocols.
  • Provides care in a manner that promotes positive interactions with patients, family members, physicians, other hospital departments, and staff in accordance with HCA mission and values.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Graduation from accredited Ultrasonography program with awarded certification or degree required
  • ARRT-S or ARDMS registered required within 6 months of employment start date
  • RVT Registered Vascular Registered within 24 months of employment start date
  • 1 year of experience preferred
  • You may travel between main campus and free standing emergency departments based on business needs
