Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an Imaging Student Extern PRN to support imaging teams while advancing their radiology training. You will work under a Registered Radiologic Technologist to prepare for and assist with imaging procedures, gaining hands-on experience and clinical knowledge.

The role is PRN and requires active enrollment in an accredited radiology program, with AHA/CPR/BLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of Radiology.
• Preference will be given to students who have completed their 1st year of the Radiology program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging procedures under supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Gain practical experience in imaging principles while performing basic patient care tasks.
