Job summary

The position requires active registration in a radiology x-ray program, with a PRN schedule and opportunities to work across imaging departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or medical environment preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and/or patient care duties to assist in imaging exams.
• Clerical duties may include scheduling, registration, screening, reception, release of information, and inventory management.
• Patient care duties may include transporting and transferring patients, preparing for procedures, discussing exams and prep with patients, starting IV access lines, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as approved by leadership.
