Job summary

nGenium is seeking an Imaging Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of a broad range of medical imaging equipment. Supported modalities include CT, MRI, and X-ray systems, with additional duties in regulatory compliance and inventory management.

The role requires strong communication, documentation practices, and the ability to travel as needed for service across sites. A biomedical credential or associate degree in related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment.
  • Experience across CT, MRI, and X-ray systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking, and hardware diagnostics.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Job description

The Imaging Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of a wide range of medical imaging equipment. Supported modalities include CT/MRI and X-ray systems. This role also supports regulatory compliance, inventory management, customer relationships, and occasional travel as business needs require

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience servicing medical imaging equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and repair experience across multiple imaging modalities
  • Associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or equivalent experience, or a recognized biomedical certification
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, networking, and computer hardware diagnostics
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed and lift up to 50 pounds
