Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience required.
• Secretarial experience with strong organizational skills preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge helpful; ICD-9/CPT coding experience desired or learnable.
• Computer skills including Meditech, Word and Excel are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• The Scheduling Coordinator must have in depth knowledge of all DI procedures and scheduling.
• Maintain schedules in CWS for radiologists, nurses, technologists, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between referring physicians, radiologists and patients.
• Ensure pre-authorization and pre-procedure testing are completed as required.
• Process scripts for outpatient procedures and verify request accuracy.
