Qualifications

• Min. A.A.S. in Radiology Technology or graduation from a 2‑yr AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current valid New York State license and ARRT certification.
• Basic CPR training required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform GI, GU, portables, OR, cranial/facial procedures (or equivalent skills) required.
• One year experience in radiographic procedures at an accredited health care facility preferred.
• Starting pay: based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required diagnostic radiographic exams at routine and advanced levels without supervision.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of all radiology related equipment.
• Responsible for acquiring and documenting required laboratory results and physician orders, ensuring proper protocols are followed.
• Remains competent in all radiographic procedures and protocols.
• Maintains required continuing education requirements for ARRT and competencies within scope of practice.
• Maintains predetermined department levels of stock for daily operations.
