Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for Imaging Services to oversee daily scheduling and medical records. You will ensure accurate scheduling, obtain pertinent medical history prior to exams, and support the technologist workflow while delivering quality customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork within the imaging department and interactions with patients and provider offices to minimize delays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years' experience in the medical field as registrar, receptionist or other related position required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience with scheduling software programs and STAR is preferred. Proficiency in Clinical Applications prior to hire will be trained.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling and medical record functions in Imaging Services.
• Ensure accurate and complete scheduling of procedures with supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with imaging team, patients and provider offices to obtain medical history and reduce delays.
