Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking an Imaging Coordinator to organize and maintain daily patient and physician schedules across facilities. You will manage imaging records, input outpatient data, and support radiologists and providers with image retrieval and reporting.

The role requires discretion with PHI and strong office skills. The position supports department operations, ensures timely communications, and contributes to maintaining efficient imaging services for the Baptist Health Care network

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in general office procedures and daily computer use.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and records management is required.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Must manage interruptions and multitask effectively.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer calls, transfer when needed, and take accurate messages.
• Perform reception, copying, scanning, filing and other essential office duties.
• Check in patients for exams and procedures.
• Input data for outpatient services.
• Assist with locating images for radiologists and providers inside/outside Baptist Health Care.
• Handle EMR, PACS, and PHI with discretion and confidentiality.
