Job summary

MedQuest Imaging is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to act as the first contact for referring providers and patients at the imaging center. You will manage inbound/outbound calls and faxes within 24 hours, input patient data, and maintain accurate scheduling across MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X‑ray modalities.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 0–2 years in healthcare or fast-paced environments, and strong typing (40+ WPM) with solid knowledge of MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years in healthcare or high-volume call center preferred.
• Excellent typing and data-entry accuracy essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurances.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and process inbound/outbound calls and faxes within 24 hours of receipt.
• Maintain documentation and support schedule fluidity through timely processing.
• Engage with referring providers and patients to ensure top patient care.
• Handle multiple phone lines with excellent communication and etiquette.
• Input and update patient demographics, insurance, and referring provider data.
• Collaborate with radiology teams to meet KPI targets for calls and appointments.
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong customer service during scheduling.
