Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in healthcare preferred, or six months to one year related healthcare experience.
• Medical Terminology Certification or completion within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations.
• Medical imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient imaging services for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Radiology.
• Schedule imaging services generated through the emergency department.
• Prioritize multiple tasks during high-volume periods.

Education
