Manages the day‑to‑day operations of various areas of Imaging including off‑site locations of the hospital. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, and implementing and directing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department. Participates in department budget preparation and management. Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital. Able to provide complex nursing care, which includes the monitoring and administering of medications required during procedures. Performs related record‑keeping and patient care functions and serves as patient advocate. Ensures proper education and training to staff and patients. Provides supervisory skills consistent with creativity, attention to detail, and consistent follow through.
