Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of clinical experience with referrals and imaging workflows.
• Proficient with EMR systems and ADP (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on referrals for specialties or diagnostics.
• Enter and verify imaging orders per provider instructions and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams.
• Maintain logs of referrals and imaging orders; track reports in the EMR.
• Assist patients in accessing resources and coordinate with outside agencies.
• Attend physician/staff meetings; educate staff on referral and imaging processes.
• Process referral/imaging authorizations; file, copy, and fax as required.
• Manage time effectively; handle high-volume periods with composure.
• Establish harmonious working relationships with patients and staff.
• Clock in/out daily; perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover both referrals and imaging orders.
