Advocate Health is seeking a radiology professional for the South Suburban Hospital radiology department in Illinois. This full-time role involves 11:00AM-7:00PM shifts, every other weekend, with call. Requisition review, patient interaction, proper imaging and safety are required to deliver high-quality radiographs.

Graduate of an approved radiology technology program is required. CPR certification, IDNS registry eligibility, and familiarity with x-ray equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved radiology technology school.
• General knowledge of x-ray equipment, including portables.
• IDNS registry eligible; CPR certified.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and examine requisitions for exams and document patient history.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Operate radiography equipment, position patient, and ensure image quality.
• Assist in other areas and follow safety and department policies.
