Job summary

Midland-Marvel in Seattle is seeking an experienced Imaging/Radiology Manager to lead a large, multidisciplinary diagnostic imaging team in a hospital setting. You will oversee staffing, performance management, regulatory compliance, quality, and operational performance.

The role requires proven leadership in a union environment, direct reports, and collaboration with physicians and senior leaders to advance patient care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program, bachelor's degree, or four years of directly related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Imaging/Radiology experience in roles such as Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist, or Mammographer.
• Minimum of 3 years of Imaging/Radiology management experience within the X-ray and/or Imaging environment.
• Hospital-based Imaging/Radiology experience required.
• Experience with direct reports, performance evaluations, hiring, and termination decisions.
• Experience managing multiple imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative leadership for about 40 imaging employees across modalities.
• Manage daily department operations with focus on patient care, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Directly supervise imaging professionals with coaching and performance management.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, retention, and termination processes.
• Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet volumes and requirements.
• Collaborate with senior imaging leadership to set priorities and achieve goals.
