Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible within 90 days of employment; state license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA.
• Strong computer and communication skills; ability to explain procedures clearly.
• Flexible schedule with 24/7, weekend, holiday, on-call availability and travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete procedures per protocol.
• Reviews patient images to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
