Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT registration or registry-eligible within 90 days of employment.
• Current state license to practice radiologic technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure accuracy.
• Operates radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates imaging equipment per protocol; may involve invasive assistance.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Completes quality control procedures and notifies/remediates when needed.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, staff scheduling, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts communication and approach to diverse patient populations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
