Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures across multiple modalities in a high‑volume regional system. You will acquire high‑quality diagnostic images and provide patient care while communicating procedures and addressing concerns.

You will maintain PACS images and use the EMR, adhering to safety, QA programs, and regulatory standards. This role requires ARRT certification in two pathways (excluding Radiography) and Kentucky licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in two pathways not including Radiography (R).
• State of Kentucky License required
• BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures (Radiography, CT, MR, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, DEXA, or Ultrasound) as certified.
• Provides direct patient care and explains routine procedures.
• Maintains images in PACS and uses EMR.
• Adheres to safety, quality goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in department quality assurance and education programs.
• Uses PPE and maintains professional development for technical competency.
