Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a patient-focused team member to assist with radiology exam prep, patient transport, and room preparation. You will operate radiology systems, coordinate schedules, and liaise with physicians, radiologists, and technologists to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires good communication and organizational skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work independently and with staff.

Qualifications

• Basic life support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
• GED or high school diploma (GED/HSED/High School Diploma) required.
• No prior experience required in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for exams and transport them between exam rooms.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and retrieve patient information.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and visitors, answer calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages as needed.
• Act as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports and images upon request and manage health records.
