Hawaii Pacific Health's Pali Momi Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Patient Representative to serve as the liaison between patients and professional staff in the Imaging Services department. The role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic service and supporting day-to-day clerical activities with a friendly, organized approach.

The position is part time regular (0.5 FTE) with day/evening shifts, located at Pali Momi Medical Center on O‘ahu.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of clerical experience and excellent customer service skills preferred.
• Medical Terminology Course is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

The Imaging Services department offers a wide range of technologies from simple X-rays to complicated interventional radiological procedures. The highly trained professionals and state-of-the-art facilities provide quality imaging services for patient diagnosis and treatment, including: Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Electroencephalography, Electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring and Echocardiography.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. One (1) year clerical experience demonstrating computer knowledge and skills , and excellent customer services skills.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) to two (2) years of college. Medical Terminology Course.
