Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a part-time Radiology Support role to assist with patient prep, room setup, and coordination of imaging workflows. The position involves careful handling of patients, families, and staff while maintaining accurate documentation and communication across departments.

The role requires enrollment in a ARRT/ARDMS-recognized Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program recognized by ARRT/ARDMS.
• GED or High School Diploma or an equivalent credential required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire unless otherwise noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and provide basic procedural instructions.
• Transport and escort patients, families and visitors as needed.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and access patient information.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and assist with equipment cleaning.
• Greet patients, respond to routine inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay information to staff.
