Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Resource Coordinator for Diagnostic Imaging in Chicago. This role supports staff scheduling, quality of service, and workflow across CT, MRI and X-ray modalities to ensure efficient patient care.

You will assist with staff orientation, maintain QC records, coordinate equipment maintenance, and monitor charges and financial performance. A steady, team-oriented approach and compliance with safety and accreditation standards are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• IEMA certification required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the selection of new team members.
• Conduct orientation and training for new and existing staff.
• Monitor staff orientation and identify instructional needs.
• Assist with scheduling staff for adequate coverage and maintain attendance records.
• Prioritize, assign and review work; provide feedback to the manager on performance.
• Assist the manager in establishing and evaluating performance expectations for staff.
• Serve as a resource regarding patient evaluation and quality of imaging services.
• Ensure staffing levels meet department guidelines and minimize overtime.
• Monitor supplies, equipment utilization, and costs; order and maintain supplies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs; advise on new equipment acquisitions.
• Support quality assurance programs and update CT/MRI/X-ray procedures.
