Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure; temporary/interim RN license acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of acute care experience preferred.
• Arizona fingerprint clearance and related requirements may apply depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, cultural, and discharge needs.
• Develop and revise the plan of care with input from the patient and team.
• Provide direct patient care per physician orders and nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate care and supervise activities of the health care team.
• Document care, assessments, and patient responses accurately in the chart.
• Contribute to quality improvement and education within the unit.
