Med-Metrix, LLC is seeking an Imaging Specialist to ensure patient records are accurately prepared for scanning and processed on schedule. The role requires strict HIPAA adherence and the ability to work with physicians and healthcare staff to maintain data integrity.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of medical records experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of medical records experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Mansioni

• Verify receipt of inpatient and outpatient records and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and review paper charts for scanning with correct patient identifiers.
• Repair damaged forms and ensure legibility before scanning.
• Maintain PHI handling in compliance with HIPAA and related policies.
• Troubleshoot and maintain the scanner; perform routine cleaning and part replacements as needed.
• Maintain daily scanning logs and weekly activity reports.
