• At least 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience, preferably in a critical care setting
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Special Procedures Tech is to assist with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician specifications.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient response, maintaining sterile fields, and evaluating diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Create a patient-focused environment providing timely and compassionate care.
• Accurately prepare and update patient records.
