Requirements

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• At least 18 months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional, preferably in a critical care setting
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the IR Department by providing technical support to the IR team. Responsibilities include:

1. Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
2. Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician specifications.
3. Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient response, maintaining sterile fields, and interpreting diagnostic data.
4. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
5. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care professionally.
6. Maintain an environment focused on patient-centered excellence, providing timely and compassionate care.
7. Accurately prepare and update patient records.
