• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• At least eighteen months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional, preferably in a critical care setting

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the IR Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures as required
• Operate radiology equipment to produce images per physician specifications
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patient response, maintaining sterile fields, and interpreting diagnostic data
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care professionally
• Create a patient-focused environment providing timely and compassionate care
• Accurately prepare and update patient records
