• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• At least eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience, preferably in a critical care setting

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician specifications
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including monitoring, passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and evaluating diagnostic data
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain an environment focused on excellence and compassionate, timely patient care
• Accurately prepare and update patient records
