Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a Radiologic Technology student or graduate to support imaging procedures at Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS. You will perform essential patient services under supervision, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and contributing to high-quality diagnostic outcomes.

Your role includes assisting with imaging procedures, preparing contrast media, and helping maintain a safe, clean environment while supporting smooth workflow across imaging units.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency OR enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
• Enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient services within your accepted scope of practice and in alignment with state and federal regulations under the supervision of a registered technologist.
• Assist technologists and physicians with imaging procedures and prepare contrast media to facilitate a seamless clinical workflow.

• Provide essential patient services within your accepted scope of practice and in alignment with state and federal regulations, working under the direct supervision of a registered technologist to ensure clinical excellence.

• Support high-quality diagnostic outcomes by assisting technologists and physicians with imaging procedures and precisely preparing contrast media to facilitate a seamless clinical workflow.

• Champion patient safety and comfort by managing clean, orderly procedure environments and assisting with physical transitions between imaging units.

• Document patient care journeys and departmental workflows with accuracy to maintain high-quality medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
