Job summary

ARA Diagnostic Imaging, a Radiology Partners practice in the Greater Austin area, seeks a coordinator to support imaging operations. You will collaborate with hospital staff, radiologists and editors, coordinating on-call procedures and serving as a liaison with external clients to resolve issues and maintain seamless coverage.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a medical office, strong written and verbal communication, and the energy to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a medical office environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and write effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and coordinates on-call procedures with hospital and radiologist.
• Acts as liaison with external clients, editors, technologists, radiologists, and departments to resolve issues while maintaining unified coverage.
• Monitors turnaround time of exams to ensure proper processing of internal and external exams.
• Facilitates resolution of issues, including quality concerns from referring physicians or other clients.
• Maintains a consistent, unified front of coverage and serves as liaison between radiologists, referring physicians and clinic staff.
