Job summary

UK King’s Daughters is seeking a friendly front desk associate in the Imaging Services department in Lexington, Kentucky. You will greet patients, coordinate scheduling for tests, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include scanning consent forms into the EMR, answering calls, and assisting with pre- and post-procedure communications to support efficient workflow and patient satisfaction in a busy radiology setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years of experience in healthcare or clinical setting.
• Ability to perform front desk administrative tasks in imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, places armbands, and notifies modality of arrival.
• Coordinates patient schedules for tests and completes necessary forms.
• Scans consent forms into the EMR.
• Answers calls, routes inquiries, and contacts patients for prescreening information.
• Performs pre- and post-procedure calls for imaging modalities as needed.
• Determines imaging service numbers using RIS/EMR systems.
• Cleans and disinfects modality areas to maintain safety.
• Reports downtime and equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.
