Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Foundation in California seeks a Field Service Specialist to repair and maintain diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment on-site. You will lead within Clinical Engineering and manage emergencies, parts, and service opportunities while minimizing contract dependency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Graduate of technical program.
• Training certificates validated on hire.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Driver's License: CA required.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and maintenance on general imaging such as X-Ray, Portable X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, CR, and Mammography units.
• Completes record keeping for work orders.
• Assists in ordering parts and supplies for cost-effective maintenance.
• Provides on-call coverage on rotating basis.
• Repairs and maintains medical equipment under contract and performs related duties.
• Provides input to the CE Manager regarding new service opportunities.
