Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Field Service Specialist to repair and maintain diagnostic imaging and biomedical equipment across facilities, including DR, basic CT/CT Sim, and oncology systems.

You will lead within Clinical Engineering, manage on-call duties, order parts, identify service opportunities, and analyze cost histories to improve efficiency while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or technical training with related field experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment.
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Specializes in repair and maintenance of general imaging equipment
• Manages all work order record keeping
• Assists in cost-effective ordering of parts and supplies
• Provides rotating on-call coverage and performs general biomedical duties
• Offers input on new service opportunities
• Stays current on technology, medical advances, and regulatory standards
