Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to service AX/XP/MR/CT imaging equipment across patient sites. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision to ensure optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction.

You will manage territory financial performance, calibrate/test equipment, and mentor junior CSEs while building strong customer relationships and coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in tools and service test equipment; ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website-Engineer Tools).
• Able to read install, set-up, repair documents; understand schematics and functional descriptions.
• 3-5+ years' experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to drive day and night.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 lbs, climbing, bending, standing, and fine manipulation.
• Strong judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; knowledge of instrument systems technology across mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software.

Responsibilities

• Service AX/XP/MR/CT imaging equipment in the Amarillo, TX area with role-based supervision.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites.
• Provide training to operators to ensure optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction.
• Manage territory financial performance, meeting or exceeding revenue, expenses, and inventory targets.
• Ensure calibration/test equipment is current and properly documented; manage company assets (car, phone, computer, tools, inventory).
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships; mentor other CSEs on competencies and responsibilities.
