Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service engineer to service AX/XP Imaging Equipment in the Palo Alto area. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years field service / biomedical engineering experience.
• Experience with testing, repairing and maintaining diagnostic instruments.
• Proficient with tools and service test equipment; strong customer relations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Service AX/XP Imaging Equipment in the Palo Alto, CA area.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance.
• Deliver timely repairs and train operators for optimal performance.
• Manage territory financials, including revenue, expenses and inventory.
• Maintain company assets (vehicle, phone, computer, tools, parts).
• Establish professional relationships with customers and peers.
