Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to join our nationwide team. You will perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment and support timely patient care with excellent service.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to travel to center locations, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed. DailyPay is available during onboarding and ongoing employment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology or relevant experience.
  • Five years of service engineering experience with OEM training on major device.
  • Two years experience in diagnostic imaging repair.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel to center locations.
  • Evening/weekend/on-call availability.
  • Reliable transportation between sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and current insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance and calibrations on diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Maintenance: Conduct emergency repairs and initiate vendor service when needed.
  • Maintenance: Order parts and assist expediting parts orders.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular testing and calibration of imaging equipment.
  • Maintenance: Troubleshoot from remote locations using computer technology.
  • Maintenance: Safety checks and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 based on direct and relevant experience.



RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Field Service Engineer II to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer II, you will be responsible for providing routine preventive and corrective maintenance for diagnostic imaging equipment within professional standards and with excellent customer service.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



(70%) Maintenance



  1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance and calibrations on diagnostic imaging equipment within recommended guidelines

  2. Conduct emergency repair for all imaging equipment, whether trained or not to evaluate failure and initiate calls for vendor service

  3. Order and source parts; assist with expediting parts orders

  4. Perform testing and calibration of imaging equipment on a regular basis

  5. Troubleshoot diagnostic imaging equipment from a remote site using computer technology

  6. Perform equipment safety checks as needed

  7. Follow the established schedule for preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions to patient care and imaging operations; may include working evenings, weekends, or early mornings to avoid impacting patient scan schedules


(25%) Documentation & Communication


  1. Document preventive and corrective maintenance performed and related invoices in maintenance connection

  2. Complete and submit work log and repair ticket information in a timely manner to support utilization and equipment maintenance management analysis and tracking

  3. Maintain positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, vendors, peers and other associates

  4. Communicate equipment status with radiologists, technologists and vendors as needed

  5. Participate in scheduled market management meetings, providing updates on all imaging equipment


(5%) Other Duties and Projects as Assigned


Required:



  1. High School Diploma, or equivalent

  2. Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent in relevant and applicable experience

  3. Five (5) years' experience in service engineering with OEM training on at least one major device

  4. Two (2) years' experience in diagnostic imaging machine repair or related equipment

  5. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  6. Ability to travel to various center locations

  7. Ability to work in the evening, weekend hours and on call as needed

  8. Some travel is required between sites; a reliable means of transportation is required

  9. Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance is required for the team member to personally drive a vehicle for company business (regardless of whether it's a company or personal vehicle)
