Job summary

InterMed Group is seeking an experienced imaging equipment technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance for hospital diagnostic imaging systems. You will maintain records, document results, and coordinate outside resources for repairs while meeting response time goals.

You will work on devices including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and mammography, and interact with vendors to source parts and services. A strong focus on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance is required.

Qualifications

• At least five years imaging related experience or a combination of imaging related work experience and specialized training.
• Two-year degree from an accredited school in electronics or equivalent military experience.
• Completed an internship with an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and calibrations to diagnostic imaging equipment and maintains associated records by filing accurate and timely reports.
• Responsible for devices: general X-ray, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, and mobile X-ray.
• Solve problems using analytical thought processes with internal and external resources.
• Assist other personnel as required.
• Interacts with vendors; research resources and suppliers.
• Completes facility and company policy and procedure guidelines.
• Maintains a neat, orderly work area and conducts duties professionally.
