The role requires experience with MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography, plus the ability to travel to client sites and maintain detailed service reports. This is a full-time benefited position with potential for growth within a national team.

Qualifications

• AS Degree from an accredited school in electronics or DOD certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Experience in medical facilities and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect and repair imaging equipment across CT/MRI and other modalities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and operation verification procedures.
• Prepare accurate service reports and document activities for customers.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper service delivery.

InterMed sells and services medical equipment for our customers across the country and is growing quickly.As a result, InterMed is looking for an Imaging Field Service Engineer to perform repairs and preventive maintenance. This individual would be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and repairing imaging equipment for our accounts in the area and must willing to traveling for work. Accurate service reporting and documentation is a crucial aspect of this role. Experience with multiple modalities is preferred. This is a full-time benefited position.This field service engineer will service our client imaging locations located in Long Island, NYC, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island! Experience with MRI, CT and Xray a must. Experience with multiple modalities preferred.Field Service Engineer Service Responsibilities:Responsible for one or more of the following devices: general X-ray, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, , ultrasound, mammography and mobile X-ray.Minimum 5 years of experience in the CT or MRI modality requiredPerforms scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging equipmentRepairs, installs and calibrates complex medical imaging equipment devices and systemsInforms managers of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations and any customer concernsPerforms periodic inspections of current inventory status and maintains inventory of common failure parts to ensure equipment uptimeWorks with, directs and documents the activities of subcontractors, vendors and outside service technicians to ensure proper service deliveryPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:A.S.
