Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking an Image Exchange Specialist III in Atlanta to ensure seamless exchange of medical imaging data across the enterprise. Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging data exchange and image distribution workflows.
• Familiarity with PACS/RIS workflows and PowerShare or similar imaging-sharing applications.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient data privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems related to inbound and outbound image exchange to ensure timely access for physicians.
• Utilize the PowerShare application to integrate patient images into the Radiology PACS system for provider access.
• Coordinate releases and share patient images with external facilities, researchers, and legal offices while ensuring compliance.
• Ingest external imaging from Emory Teleradiology customers for interpretation by Emory Radiologists.
